Compassion above all else

"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.

If you want to be happy, practice compassion".

Dalai Lama

For me, every individual person and animal matters, whether it is great or small! As a child I would clear the path of insects each morning so that my five younger brothers and sisters didn't trample them on the morning school run.... so you could say I have been known to take compassion to the extreme! Needless to say in my eyes, all animals were created equal  - wildlife, strays and rescued animals deserve as much love and care as the award-winning pedigree.

Compassion in my job is all about paying attention to all the little things that help reduce stress levels for both you and your cat. All my clients are given the option of completing a detailed
questionnaire as part of the registration process so that I can find out all about your and your cat's personal likes/dislikes. I take the time to listen to your concerns and have made an extra effort to source advice sheets to help curious or worried owners learn more about their cat's health and well-being.

I aim to minimize stress both in the home and if your cat needs treatment at a traditional vet practice. I can put you in touch with like-minded cat friendly clinics and help give you plenty of advice on how to ensure the trip goes as smoothly as possible. Most importantly, I understand that an aggressive cat is a fearful cat, not a "naughty" cat and as such should be shown the same level of care and compassion as my most co-operative patients.

that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man.”
