PET INSURANCE
Nobody wants to deprive a family member (furry or otherwise) of quality medical care, but sadly many cat owners mistakenly think that pet insurance is more important for dogs. This really couldn't be further from the truth!

Cats are agile and independent little creatures with an innate sense of curiosity and adventure, so they are just as likely to get themselves into mischief as dogs… cat fights, falling from heights, encounters with dogs or motor vehicles, need I say more! Cats also have their own unique metabolism which means that many household items/plants are highly toxic in even the smallest of doses!
There is an old saying that cats have “nine lives”, which reflects their propensity to escape seemingly life-threatening situations, sometimes bouncing back from the brink of death to lead long and contented lives. That said, cats are also masters of disguise, hiding disease often until its late stages. Coupled with their higher chance of having complex and unusual medical conditions, often simultaneously, it is little wonder that vets can find these cases very challenging. When given a shoe-string budget, many cats face euthanasia instead of a happy and healthy life with treatment. More people claim on their pet insurance than any other type of insurance and around one in three pets will need unexpected vet treatment this year. With the rapidly increasing developments in knowledge and technology across the fields of both human and veterinary medicine, pet insurance means that everyone can afford to give their pet the best care available. Nobody wants to deprive their family members (furry or otherwise) of quality medical care; however, in the absence of a NHS for pets, the hard truth is that if you haven’t got the hundreds to thousands of pounds that this may cost, then you may be left facing some grim choices about your cat’s future. With all this in mind, can you afford NOT to insure your cat’s wellbeing? CHOOSING A PET INSURANCE POLICY THAT WON’T LET YOU DOWN
