My Purrsonal Assistants
Ok, so they don't exactly help with the admin or the driving #IWish, but these little feline furries provide immeasurable love and support. On good days and sad, I can always count on coming home to my own little feline fan club. As any cat lover will know, they are a great source of relaxation and contentment and most definitely have their own unique personalities.
Having had plenty of cats of my own means I am always learning something new about what makes them tick. I naturally ponder how I can apply these experiences to better help my feline patients and their carers. Nobody likes to take advice from someone who hasn't been there, done that and got the cat fur covered t-shirt and degree to prove it.
Rest assured, I am on the front line of being a multi-cat Mum and have been since I could walk, so you'll often find me not just backing up the science with my decades of professional veterinary experience, but using my own purrsonal experiences as well as those of my clients on anything from behaviours, training, foods and treatments.
Now, if only I could train my cats to make a cup of tea!

Meet the feline team
Willie-the-wonder-cat
Position: The Boss, Pigeon Patrol Officer
Will-i-am as he is affectionately called is a rescue Siamese & is the stubborn male in the cat family. He fancies himself as a male pin-up & has acute hearing when it comes to the sound of a yoghurt pot or tuna tin being opened in a 5 mile radius.
He tends not to be a fan of new people, especially those that smell of other cats or aftershave. In his spare time he's a keen volunteer for the local pigeon patrol. His "naughty" nick name is "Wicked Willie". |
Harriet
Special skills: Petty thief & Professional Escape Artist
Harriet is a moggy who likes bald men with deep voices...no, really, it's true! She really is a bit of a floozy. She's a part-time petty criminal & particularly likes pinching elastic bands & pretending she's caught them, yowling proudly! She also has a habit of escaping into the loft whenever the hatch is left open for more than a millisecond. Harri was previously overweight but portion control & environmental enrichment have left her sporting her new svelte figure.

Celine
Main role: Meeter & Greeter, Chief Mouser
Celine, Harri's longhaired sister, prefers dining alfresco in the warmer months & sits watching mouse holes for hours. Come wintertime she likes to indulge in her penchant for kneading fleecy dressing gowns while dribbling. Her party trick is swinging off lever door handles til they open - spooky when you're home alone late at night! She'll often greet humans by sitting and delicately waving her paw. Oh, and I almost forgot her other little quirk... if she likes you, she licks you!
